Expands Virginia Beach Headquarters and adds Cherry Hill, NJ satellite office
Virginia Beach, VA – June 2, 2008
– The GBS Group, an engineering consulting and technical services firm, today announced its move into a larger corporate headquarters at 397 Little Neck Road in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The addition of new GBS consultants and steady growth necessitated the relocation and expansion. “ Our new offices are designed to improve the efficiency of our consultants supporting the Navy, Maritime, and Mass Transit engineering projects. Bringing our Hampton Roads team of engineers and technical staff together creates an even stronger team and provides an environment for synergy that will help us serve our customers more effectively,” said Bob Golden, CEO of The GBS Group
In addition to the new office in Virginia, The GBS Group has also established a satellite Government Services office in the Beowulf Plaza in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Bruce Green, GBS Chief Operating Officer and Senior Consultant runs the Cherry Hill office and noted, “Over the last several months we have more than doubled our consulting business here. The establishment of GBS offices near some of our key customers, including the US Navy in Philadelphia and several passenger rail operators in the Northeast ensures that we remain as close to our customers as possible.”
